Nas just dropped another hot visual off his hit Life Is Good album. Check out his video for the sultry yet raw hip hop edge track “Cherry Wine” inside. Nas used his good friend Amy Winehouse’s vocals from an unreleased track they did before her death for his album track “Cherry Wine.” He describes it as a narrative between ill-fated lovers. And reportedly, the song was titled after Amy’s guitar, which she called “cherry”.
In the video, Nas plays a sexy bartender who has his eye on a pool-playing vixen. And at the end of the night after heavy flirting from afar between the two, they leave the bar together to likely do what any grown ups would do who are leaving a bar at sunrise. Also, check out how director Jay Martin had an image of Amy projected onto the stage in the bar.
