MG4Finalists of this year’s Miss Ghana beauty pageant have undergone a day’s grooming session at Pippa’s Health Centre in Accra. The grooming session, according to the organizers, will be the first in many series to be organized for the contestants from now till the finale on October 30, at the Accra International Conference Centre.

All twenty girls were taken through spinning and workout sessions including exercises that took care of their cardiovascular, weight loss, heart burns and resistance worries under agile instructor Yorkor-Shaw Taylor.

The contestants had a very good time working out their muscles, with some clearly having a field day. An hour-long session on modeling for beauty pageants followed immediately, where mentor/coach Nicola Sackey took all twenty through the various elements of modeling and what makes a good beauty queen on an event day.

An added photo opportunity with retired football star Marcel Desailly courtesy photographer, Sefa Nkansah, summed up the joy and excitement for most of the contestants as they continue to savour in the life changing experience. The organizers, Media Whizz Kids, are confident that this year’s event will be exciting given the highly competitive manner in which all twenty were selected.

Catch the exciting television series of the Miss Ghana 2010 beauty pageant every Wednesday at 9pm on GTV and Sundays at 8pm on e.TV. Also, log on to the official Miss Ghana page on Facebook for all the latest news on the pageant.
