The special ticket for the event is a ‘booklet’ which opens with a recorded message from the singer.

The message starts with the hit Amakye Dede song, ‘Sokoo Na Mmaa Pe’ and it is followed by a voice message from Abrantie Amakye Dede saying: “Hi my name is Abrantie Amakye Dede I am inviting you to the Conference Centre on the 15th of September. Be there and I will be there for you too.”

The message is followed by an exclamation of the singer’s catch phrase, ‘Serious’ and voice  that says,  ‘You Are Our Special Guest’. Tickets are available at Koala Shopping Centre, Peace FM<

In related news, it seems that former president, JA Kufuor will be attending this Saturday’s event as a team visited him to invite him to the concert. The team included Amakye Dede himself, Fiifi Banson, Adakabre, Nana Akua, Arnold Asante and Yaw Sakyi-Afari. At the inaugural edition of the Legends and Legacy Ball which honoured Daddy Lumba,  former presidents JA Kufuor and JJ Rawlings were special guests.

Legends and Legacy Ball, which seeks to celebrate the musical achievements and legacies of legends will see musicians Freddy Meiway, Samini, Okyeame Kwame, Becca, Eazzy, Kwabena Kwabena, Daasebre Gwamena and sexaphonist, Steve Bedi performing songs by Amakye Dede. The last performance of the night will be by the legend himself, who will perform a couple of his songs.
