Exclusive & FAB Photos: Efya, Okyeame Kwame, Ambolley and others win at Ghana Music Awards – Industry Awards
Ahead of the 2013 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards scheduled for Saturday May 18 winners have been announced for the Industry Awards at a star-studded ceremony at the Alisa Hotel. With a new award trophy and splendid performances from the likes of Celestina, Raquel, Afriyie, Knii Lante and others, the ceremony was a befitting prelude to what is being touted as the industry’s biggest night. Singer Efya picked up the first ‘Record of the Year’ award with her song ‘Best In Me’ . Other winners include; Akoo Nana who picked the World Bank Music for Development, Kaywa won for himself the Sound Engineer of the Year, pride of the North-Sherifa was adjudged as the Traditional Artiste of the Year whiles Gyedu Blay Ambolley went home with the Lifetime Achievement Award.
