As part of E.A. Ministries’ social initiatives, the Show God’s Love Project finally came off in a grand style at the Tema General Hospital on the 1st of January 2013 with the support of Helplife Foundation Gh., Faithers Inc. and Christ In You-UK. Several food items and toiletries were given to the sick and medical officers at the hospital.
The presentation was the beginning of the ministries’ support for the sick and less privilege in society.
In a short speech, the Vice President of E.A. Ministries, Yaw A. Debrah noted that the gesture was a reflection of the ministry’s commitment to the children and the youth in Ghana by initiating projects that will help them grow into healthy contributing members of society. The project also afforded the team an opportunity to interact with the kids and their parents.
He noted: “Our little kids, brothers and sisters need the opportunity and resources to develop to become the future leaders of the nation and it is sad some find themselves in the hospital on a new year’s day like this. We believe that the Show God’s Love Project will positively impact the lives these young ones.”
The Director of the children’s ward, Ms. Magdalene who received the items on behalf of the hospital management, expressed her appreciation to the team for carrying out the project. She then called on other groups and institutions to come to the aid of the hospital.
After the presentation, the volunteers moved into the various wards to share the New Year gifts to the sick. They spent some time interacting with the kids, their parents, medical officers and also prayed for their healing.
The leader of the team, Yaw A. Debrah expressed his sincere appreciation to Mr. Emmanuel Amponsah― the President of E.A. Ministries, Mr. Jeffery Debrah also of E.A. Ministries, Mr. Derek Ohene-Kye and Mr. Kwaku Dankyi both of Christ In You-UK for supporting the project.
The President of Faithers Inc., Karen Yartey, in conclusion thanked the hospital, volunteers and everyone for being a part of this life-transforming experience. She urged other groups to emulate this godly imitative to put smiles on the faces of the less privilege in society
The Show God’s Love Project is one of the projects under E.A. Ministries.
E.A. Ministries has under taken to help the less privileged children and young people in Ghana by providing the resources they need for them to grow into healthy contributing members of society.
The project is meant to provide a lifesaving relief to those in need and to also reach out to the less-privileged in society, most especially the children and the youth by providing their basic needs such as clothes, food, good health educational materials, etc.
