chemphe Chemphe to launch ‘Double P’ project on SaturdayGhanaian R&B singer, Chemphe is set to launch his ‘Double P’ project, a campaign for peace and against poverty on Saturday, August 11 after initially cancelling it as a result of the death of President John Evans Atta Mills.

The press launch will take place on at Grand Cassamora Hotel in Adjiringano, East Legon.  It will provide the press and the public with firsthand information on the project.  The singer, who released a peace song during the 2008 general elections believes that the call for peace ahead the 2012 general elections is vital and that among other things, is exactly what he hopes to achieve with the ‘Double P’ project.

Chemphe will combine the project with his music as he is to reinforce the promotion of ‘Left Over’, ‘Kiss Me’ and other songs on his new album, which will be launched at +233 Jazz Bar on September 1. The album launch will feature six of Ghana’s best from different genres namely Irene Logan, Jon German, Dr Cryme, J-Town, Efya and Ball J.
